Don’t you just hate it when a gorgeous venue is ruined by the promoters the owners bring on?

Please comment venues (current or past) that were ruined by the promoters.

If you are sick and tired of receiving text messages from unwanted club promoters, we can help you out! Most promoters use web services to send out their mass text messages so, depending on your carrier, you can block these messages.

Each provider provides their own tools to do this.

For Verizon, log onto text.vzw.com and create an account (if you haven’t already). Click Preferences and then text blocking. You can block texts sent from email (highly recommended) and texts sent from Internet (blocking this might block wanted texts, like Orbitz, etc.). Also, you could manually enter the addresses that you want to block.

All the other providers have similar settings.

For ATT, log onto mymessages.wireless.att.com

For T-mobile, log onto my.t-mobile.com

For Sprint, log onto sso.sprintpcs.com

Blocking these messages will definitely get rid of most of the junk!
